Objectivize the use of 40 delivery areas in city centers
Over the next few weeks, 40 delivery areas in downtown Levallois-Perret will be monitored in real time. The aim is to find out exactly how these delivery areas are used, in order to inform discussions on the organization of urban logistics, curb management, and the city center.
“Better understand urban logistics to make the right decisions”.
“The number of deliveries has risen steadily in recent years, and many of them are made in double queues. This issue is now central to the challenges of mobility, sustainable development and trade. This observatory will enable us to gain a detailed understanding of the uses and problems associated with delivery areas. This part of public space has a strategic role to play. Its transformation and improvement are both essential and difficult. To make the right decisions and rethink the management of this space, we’re taking a structured, data-driven approach”, explains Isabelle Coville, Deputy Mayor, responsible for Sustainable Development, Mobility, the Fight against substandard housing, Energy Renovation and Associations.
